Hi Friends, I thought I would send you some of my latest picture. I am so curious these days, putting everything I can in my mouth, including the cats tail. I love hanging out with Daddy and want to do everything he does, I am helping dad text Pa Pa. I love to giggle and laugh at Pistol. I also had to get a picture of me wearing my new shoes. Don't tell mom but I think they are a little big.

You know we could not stay home for long. We were home for a day then headed East to Tulsa for girls weekend. Well almost we did have one extra special little boy. Jackson Thomas!! Joel is still at his S.O.S. training, that is squadron officer school for those who would like to know. He left the end of July for 5 weeks and will be home the last weekend in August. Chelsea and I decided to go traveling in week three. Here are a few of our adventures. We started by heading to Dallas to see Anna and David's new home, complete with a swimming pool. Chelsea was excited to be in the pool, the last time she was only able to get her toes wet as it was to cold in San Antonio for a full dunk. So here she is with Aunt Anna.

We left Dallas and headed to Clyde America to see Aunt Leslie and the rest of the gang. Chelsea had her first visit to the zoo. Gracen, Landrum, and Chelsea all had a great time. Abilene Zoo is the perfect size for Chelsea. She saw the bears, the tiger, and we even fed the giraffe.

Well Chelsea didn't she just hung out in her stroller most of the day. She did get out for a few photo ops. We had to send a picture of Great Aunt Debbie with all the kids to mom, yes she was jealous.

The Zoo was great and we had a great time seeing everyone, well I did anyway. Chelsea was just glad we brought her thumb along, teehee! Yes Chelsea is a thumb sucker. I love it she looks so cute doing it but hopefully she is not like her Nana, sucking her thumb until she is 16.

Landrum was so in love with Telsea, that is what he calls her. She got plenty of hugs and kisses. Gracen was just itching to play with her. We decided holding hands was okay, I have seen how he tackles his brother, teehee.

We were able to suprise Granny Kay showing up on her doorstep, she was so happy she cried. That is her on the couch with all her great grandkids.

Our final leg of the journey was back through Dallas. This time John David was excited to see Chelsea, he has not been so sure the last few times we have seen each other. He actually wanted to hold her which is a first. He was constantly bringing her toys and fighting off little brother Drew. Poor Drew had a cough so we made him keep his distance. Well that was is, that was our week in Texas. I was hoping we would get to sneak down to Georgetown for L.A.s shower but we were worn out. I hope it was a success and we can not wait to meet our new baby cousin Maddox. We are home now and looking foward Joel's return. Chelsea will be 24weeks whenever he gets home which means she will start rice cereal. Hopefully I can get this video thing figured out to share the funny faces. I hope you all are doing well and TTFN!

Hi Everyone!! Mommy has been a little slow on the blog but she made up for it today. I was a good girl and took three good naps so she had time to update. Daddy even came home for a little while this afternoon so she could go to the grocery store.......she was so happy. She has been a little tired, especially yesterday because I had a tummy ache all day but I am better today. Okay then, Ta Ta for now!!

Okay so with the new house we had to build a new fence for our puppy dog. He is a runner. I know you know that because most of you have chased him at least once. George and Sharon and Roxy mom came to help us, well Joel build a fence. We paid someone to do the privacy fence on the side but we did not want to miss the great view out the back. Yes we have cows as our neighbors......it only seems right being in Oklahoma. Here are a few pictures of the weekend then one of the dog adjusting to his new home.

BOWS, BOWS, and more BOWS!!

My cousin has been busy making hair bows and since she has two boys, baby C is getting a hair full. She has decided to make a business from her hobby so all my girl moms let me know if you want some hair bows. She makes all different shape, color, sizes and she will even customize if you have a special outfit that needs a little extra. Here are a few pictures of some that she created for Baby C.

Okay so I have been away for a long time but we are officially now in our new home. AAHH Relief!!! We started in San Antonio the first week in May, flying my mom in to help us with our move. I am sorry to say mom you were not to much help the first couple of days, I guess I will put in a request for next time that she sleep before she comes. She did finally help out whenever we got on the road...... and she was driving when we hit a really bad rain storm. Here is a pic of her visit.

We were able to go through Waco and Clyde to continue Chelsea's journey to see all her great grandmother's. Chelsea had a great time with her cousin's Landrum and Gracen..... I think they like her as well. My mom got a lot more pictures than I did. I hope to get some of those soon. We finished our Jouney in Okc where Chelsea got to meet her Pappy for the first time. His words"Pretty Cute". That means he really likes her. She also got to meet Grandma Dot for the first time. Grandma was so excited she shed a few tears of joy. She is so sweet.

After spending a week with my parents and a week with Joel's parents a week moving in, we came back to see Grandma Dot turn 80.

We thought that might be the end but not yet.....Joel's cousin, the one from Hawaii is getting married in Dallas. Wow!

Now this is the first weekend in our new home. I will have to send a picture of the house on our next post as it is not quite finished yet. Until next time, TTFN!

Okay so I am finally getting some more pictures of Chelsea up. I am great at taking pictures but bad at getting them out to everyone. Life is sooo busy with Chelsea, I am lucky to get a shower and my teeth brush. I have a whole new respect for the mothers in my life. We are finally getting somewhat of a schedule down, hence the reason you are finally getting an update. Here are a few pictures from Easter. She did get an Easter basket with some sunglasses just her size. We did make it to church, she was the cutest girl there, Okay so I might be a little partial.

Yes, my cousin Leslie came to visit once again! She is so good at this picture thing. She took my picture at the McNay Museum in San Antonio. Poor girl is home now with two sick boys. Landrum has Pnemonia and Gracen has bronchitius, poor little guys. She had to reschedule Gracen's 1st birthday party. I know she was a little disappointed but now me and blueberry will make an appearance. She is going to have the party the same weekend Joel has to go out of town for his training. I am little nervous to travel with a little baby but it will be better than being all alone. We are one day past due date and anxiously waiting the arrival of our baby girl. Joel did go fly today but he packed his overnight bag, just in case. I know he is excited, he called right before he stepped to the jet and I am sure I will hear from him as soon as he lands.

For those of you who do not know... I went to the doctor on Monday for my weekly routine check up. I found out, to my suprise, blueberry was breech. They gave me one of two options: They could try an all external procedure called ECV (External Cephalic Version) to try and flip the baby in the head down position or they could schedule a C-section. I was really hoping to avoid surgery if at all possible so I opted to do the first procedure. This ECV has 68% success rate, and they perform it in the OR with you prepped and ready so that if anything goes astray you are ready for a C-section. I checked in this morning at 6am to Labor and Delivery where they strapped a fetal heart monitor on my belly and went to town with consent forms, IVs, questions I had, etc. They got me all ready, gave Joel a set of scrubs, then took us to the operating room. They did a spinal block on me, which numbs you from the waist down, a really unusual sensation. Once I was all numb it was time. They put the jelly on the belly with the ultrasound machine in tow and the fetal heart monitor on and began pushing very aggresively on my belly, the reason for the pain meds. The doctor explained they do not push on the actual baby they push around her to make her uncomfortable so that she will want to move. They tried one way and she was not going to budge but whenever they tried the opposite direction she flip right over into the head down position. YIPPEE!! That meant no immediate C-section. They now had to monitor me and blueberry for the next several hours to make sure we were still doing okay and that she did not decide to flip back. (only a 4% chance) I was able to come home around 3pm whenever the pain meds wore off and they were sure we were both doing well. The put me on bed rest for a few days and said I will probably be sore but everything looked good. That is the story. I attached a picture of Joel and I waiting to go into the OR. I am so thankful Joel was able to be with me every step of the way, he help me stay calm and together. I am so lucky for his sweet spirit and great sense of humor. Thanks again for the prayers and I will let you know whenever blueberry decides to make her grand appearance.

Jordan and Lesley Anne came down from Georgetown to take us out to the famous San Antonio Rodeo this weekend. Joel and I had such a good time watching the Bucking Broncos, Mutton Bustin, Barrell Racing, Roping, and all the other fun events involved with the rodeo. The girl that won the barrell race was amazing, she smoked the competition. We even saw Billy Ray Cyrus perform. Of Course the highlight of the weekend was the boys got a Turkey Leg, there is just someting so primative about a man eating a Leg of Meat!! Here are a few pictures of our fun weekend.

Someone took their first steps!!! I am so proud, Leslie's sweet little Gracen is walking.....well almost. She said he has been walking along the couch and coffee table for awhile. The other night whenever Gary got home Gracen was so excited to see his daddy that he walk over to him. Of course they got the video camera and nothing. He would not even take a step. Anyway, here is a picture of Gracen with Joel while we were at build a bear last weekend. They have the same look on their face, such cuties!

Hello it is me again. I am growing bigger and bigger everyday it must be the nineth month. I am not moving very fast these days but since we spoke last I have had a few outings. Four of my closest friends got together and planned a baby shower in Dallas, for me and my blueberry. I am so thankful for everyone that was able to be there.

We are lucky to have quite a bit of family in Dallas. Both of Joel's sister's live there and he has two cousins there as well. I can't believe they chose to spend most of their Saturday with me, Thanks guys. Of Course, George and Sharon made the trip from OKC but it was not hard to convince them to make the drive....... they have grandchilderen in Dallas!!

I had a good representation of family as well. I have a little more family in Houston and they decided to mak the trip up to D-town. I have one cousin that came all the way from Little Rock and of course Grandma Dot came down with mom. They arrived about two hours late in true Roxy fashion. I am glad they made it. I recieved so many wonderful things I am still working on the Thank You notes!!

This is my Cousin Leslie and her sweet boys Landrum and Gracen. They came up to San Antonio the last two weekends to visit Joel and I. We have had so much fun hanging out with her and her boys. She has been living in Spokane, Washington and Joel and I were in New Jersey so we did not get together much these last four years. Now with them in Del Rio and us in San Antonio we look foward to many more fun times. Luckily Landrum is a little love bug and he took to Aunt Christy right away. This weekend we were able to go to build a bear, we made "Batman Bear". Those of you who do not know you get to choose and an animal stuff it, add a heart, give it a bath, name it and pick out some clothing. Landrum enjoyed every minute. Gracen was able to build a bear as well but I think Gary helped especially since his bear ended up in a Red Sox uniform. That is Gary's favorite team. Last weekend we were able to go to the San Antonio Zoo. We saw Melvin ,that is the giraffe from the Madagascar movie, Landrums favorite character, although he was pretty impressed with the Rhino too. Gracen enjoyed being outside in the fresh air. He spent most of his time in his stroller but did not mind with all the constant movement. I have really enjoyed the time we spent with the Wells family and I am so thankful they have come to see us. By the way, Leslie is the photographer, she does such a great job.

This is my friend Lindsey, she was my neighbor in New Jersey. I already miss her soooo much. She is pregnant with TWINS a boy and a girl. She is due March 21st but I am sure she will be earlier since there are two. Her nickname is Daisy so her twins are petal and sprout until the big day. She is the sweetest most caring person I have ever met. She has never met an animal she does not like. I guess that is why she houses a mini zoo with 2 dogs, 2 ferrets, and 5 fish. Most of her animals were rescued because the owners no longer wanted to keep them, so see what I mean. Her motto is you never give up on family, even if that family has a few more legs and a lot more fur. As we said our goodbyes, we laughed at how our belly's bumped trying to hug each other. We have had a great time being pregnant together. We waddle our dogs around our neighborhood on the good days and lounged in front of the TV on the tired days. She is a special gal, Thanks for being such a good friend Linds! Okay so Joel got a little jealous of all the belly attention, he just had to join in pulling his shirt up and pooching out as much as he could. He is has been so great through everything, always making us laugh. James, Lindsey's husband, was deployed when we left Jersey so he missed all the fun. He did get to come down a few weeks later and visit us in San Antonio. Well he was on a mission but we still were able to get together.

This is my best friend Courtney, she is expecting as well. As you can tell, I am a little further along. Her little bundle of joy is coming in July right around my birthday. Don't worry I will share. I am so excited to be pregnant together, especially now that we live so much closer. I can see many play dates in our future. Maybe she will have a girl too and they will be best friends or if it is a boy we will betroth them. Oh I guess I am getting ahead of myself, I will be happy if they just get along. Congrats Courtney, you and Brian are going to be great parents.

Joel and I had a great Christmas at the Castner Christmas. KP, Rachel, Somara, and Dylan were able to hang out with us as well. They were in the middle of a PCS (military word for move) as well.

Joel and I were so happy that they came to our house for Christmas. KPs mom flew in the day after Christmas to help them move in to their new home in Altus, OK. I look foward to more fun times with the KPs.

This is the one thing I will miss in Enid, the four seasons and the many, many trees. This was the tree in front of our McGuire House it was always the first to lose it's leaves. It was also the first to bloom in the Spring.

Our little blueberry was well on her way to us. We are anxiously awaiting her arrival around March 8th. I finally gave in and started a blog.
